January 14, 2005	Deadlines: Preliminary Reports – Counsel for the plaintiffs and the defendants are ordered to submit separate written statements indicating their preliminary understandings of the facts involved in the litigation and the critical factual and legal issues. The submissions are to contain the parties’ proposals for the organization of counsel. Applications for Lead and Liaison Counsel Appointments – Applications for the lead and liaison counsel must be filed with the clerk’s office. See Pretrial Order No. 1 for details.
January 20, 2005	Initial conference to be held at 10:00 a.m. in Judge Vance’s courtroom, Room C279, United States Courthouse, 500 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
January 31, 2005	Deadlines: Fees/Expenses – Lead counsel must submit a time and expense report for all participating counsel. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
February 1, 2005	Deadlines: Objections – Counsel objecting to the appointment of any applicant to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee (PCS) must file an objection in writing. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
February 28, 2005	Deadlines: Fees/Expenses – Lead counsel must file with the Clerk a time and expense report for all participating counsel. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
March 10, 2005	Status conference to be held at 1:00 p.m. in Judge Vance’s courtroom, Room C279, United States Courthouse, 500 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. Deadlines: Master Complaint – The plaintiffs must file a master complaint. Discovery – The parties must make voluntary disclosures under Rule 26(a). See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
March 24, 2005	Deadlines: Proposed Confidentiality Order – The defendant must submit to the Court and to the plaintiffs a list of the persons or entities as to whom the defendant would like advance notice. Service List – Plaintiffs must file a complete service list. See Pretrial Order No. 3 for details.
March 30, 2005	Deadlines: Fees/Expenses – Lead counsel must file with the Clerk a time and expense report for all participating counsel. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
April 1, 2005	Deadlines: Joint Discovery Plan for Class Certification – Parties must brief the number of depositions that they propose to take, the reason they need the number of depositions they propose, and the propriety vel non of deposing non-named class members. See Pretrial Order No. 3 for details.
April 11, 2005	Deadlines: Rule 12 Motions – The defendant must file its Rule 12 motion. Interrogatories and Document Requests – The parties may serve one joint set of interrogatories and document requests. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details. Proposed Confidentiality Order – The plaintiffs must respond to the defendant’s list of the persons or entities as to whom the defendant would like advance notice. See Pretrial Order No. 3 for details.
April 15, 2005	Deadlines: Joint Discovery Plan for Class Certification – Parties must reply to the briefs submitted on the number of depositions that they propose to take, the reason they need the number of depositions they propose, and the propriety vel non of deposing non-named class members. April 18, 2005	Deadlines: Proposed Confidentiality Order – The defendant must reply to the plaintiffs’ response to the defendant’s list of the persons or entities as to whom the defendant would like advance notice. See Pretrial Order No. 3 for details.
April 30, 2005	Deadlines: Fees/Expenses – Lead counsel must file with the Clerk a time and expense report for all participating counsel. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
May 2, 2005	Deadlines: Response to Rule 12 Motion – The plaintiff must file a consolidated brief in response to the defendant’s Rule 12 motion. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
May 11, 2005	Deadlines: Responses to the Interrogatories and Document Requests – The parties must respond to the interrogatories and document requests. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
May 13, 2005	Deadlines: Move to Separate Causes of Action from the Master Administrative Complaint – Counsel for plaintiffs in the underlying lawsuits whose complaints contain causes of action that are not included in the Master Administrative Complaint must move to separate those causes of action from the Master Administrative Complaint. Otherwise, the Court will dismiss those claims with prejudice. See Order amending Pretrial Order No.2 for details.
May 16, 2005	Deadlines: Reply to the Response to Rule 12 Motion – The defendant must file a reply brief in response to the plaintiff’s response to the defendant’s Rule 12 motion. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details.
May 31, 2005	Deadlines: Fees/Expenses – Lead counsel must file with the Clerk a time and expense report for all participating counsel. See Pretrial Order No. 2 for details. Joint Status Report – Parties must file a joint status report. See Pretrial Order No. 3 for details.
June 2, 2005	Status conference to be held at 10:30 a.m. in Judge Vance’s courtroom, Room C279, United States Courthouse, 500 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130.
